We are happy to inform you that the summer university courses of the Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship for 2025 are now available for the Hungarian diaspora community!

Applicants with a Hungarian background have the chance to visit Hungary and to participate in inspiring short-term courses and community activities with the Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship in the summer of 2025. The opportunity will allow them to gain experiences and impressions of our country and awaken their interest in a longer-term period of study in Hungary.

We kindly ask you to distribute this information within your network/ institution.

What applicants can expect?

Inspiring courses: Students can choose from a wide array of courses from top Hungarian universities and education institutions ranging from Hungarian language courses to thematic classes lasting from 2 to 4 weeks.

Community experience: Applicants can make new friendships with fellow diaspora students and international students from all around the world!

Hungarian cultural programs: Participants can discover their Hungarian heritage through social activities, while they can explore the richness of Hungarian culture, in the iconic cities of Hungary from excursions to dance classes.

Scholarship benefits:

Eligibility:

Open to all applicants of Hungarian descent residing in the diaspora outside of the European Union.

Current Diaspora scholarship holders may apply if their previous scholarship status concludes before the chosen Summer University Course. Similarly, applications are welcomed from those students too who plan to apply within the other type of Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship Call for Applications, launched this November.

Deadline: February 28, 2025, 2 pm (CET).

Örömmel tájékoztatjuk Önöket, hogy a Diaszpóra Felsőoktatási Ösztöndíjprogram keretében ismét pályázhatnak nyári egyetemi kurzusokra a magyar diaszpórában élő fiatalok. A 2025 nyarán szervezett rövid egyetemi kurzusokkal szeretnénk továbbra is megadni annak a lehetőségét, hogy a magyar felmenőkkel rendelkező és Magyarországon tanulni vágyó fiatalok egy rövidebb, kettő és négy hetes időszak során megismerkedjenek országunkkal, élményeket és tapasztalatokat szerezzenek.

A program népszerűsítése érdekében, kérjük, saját kommunikációs platformjaikon/intézményükön belül Önök is osszák meg a lehetőséggel kapcsolatos alábbi információkat.

Amit a program biztosít:

Inspiráló kurzusok: A jelentkezők a legjobb magyarországi egyetemek és oktatási intézmények 2-4 hétig terjedő magyar nyelvi és tematikus képzéseiből válogathatnak.

Közösségi élmény: A kurzusok résztvevői magyar és más nemzetiségű diákokkal találkozhatnak a világ minden tájáról.

Kulturális programok: A résztvevők kirándulásokon, táncházban és számos programban vehetnek részt Magyarország legszebb helyszínein.

Az ösztöndíj az alábbi juttatásokat biztosítja:

• Tandíjmentes képzés

• Szállás

• Étkezés

• Utasbiztosítás

Részvételi feltételek:

Minden olyan magyar származású pályázó számára nyitott, aki az Európai Unión kívüli magyar diaszpórában él.

A jelenlegi diaszpóra ösztöndíjasok akkor pályázhatnak, ha korábbi ösztöndíjas státuszuk a választott nyári egyetemi kurzus előtt lejár. Szintén pályázhatnak azok, akik a 2024 novemberében kiírt, hosszabb távú tanulmányokra vonatkozó pályázattípusunkra is terveznek jelentkezni.
